MCF is actively engaged in different types of outreach activities viz., educating students about science and technology, conducting training programs for different level of students from primary to post graduates, visiting schools and demonstrating science experiments with respect to science and technology, conducting internship, projects and training program for students as well as technical faculties etc.
MCF is constantly encouraging space technology enthusiasts through world space week, Vikram sarabahi centenary programs, conducing exhibition on space technology and many other programs.

Students outreach programs
MCF is visiting various schools and giving lectures on Space Technology, new trends and Applications. MCF also demonstrates different models in order make the students interested about space technology.
Science and Technology Lectures and training
MCF is conducting training programs for various academic faculties and students about Space technology including communications related topics from senior scientists who are system experts.
World Space Week
World Space Week celebrations are organized every year from October 4 to 10. Each year, the celebration upholds a theme decided by the UN General Assembly. MCF at Hassan and Bhopal organize WSW celebration to spread the message about the space technology and reach out to the student community in the Hassan district and around. Competitions, lectures and talk shows are arranged for the benefit of school, college and space enthusiast public.
Vikram Sarabhai Centenary Program
Many lectures and Science and technology demonstrations were conducted in rural schools to encourage student community. Museum on wheels was arranged in association with SAC in different schools. Many competitions were conducted for students to boost their knowledge in science and technology.
RESPOND
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has evolved a program through which financial support is provided for conducting research and development activities related to Space Science, Space Technology and Space Application to academia in India. This program of Research Sponsored by ISRO is called RESPOND.
The main objectives of the RESPOND Program is to establish strong links with academic institutions in the country to carry out research and developmental projects which are of relevance to space technology & related ground applications and derive useful outputs of such R&D to support ISRO programs. RESPOND program aims to enhance academic base, generate human resources and infrastructure at the academic institutes to support the space program. The major activity of RESPOND is to provide support to research projects in wide range of topics in space technology, space science and applications areas to universities / institutions. In addition conferences, workshops and publications, which are of relevance to space research, are also being supported.
